The Mac is here

Expressed for Mac is on the website. The window is still the Windows one; the next few days are for making it feel effortless, and sending that feeling back to Windows.

Blog cover: The Mac is here. A pencil sketch of a laptop, a hand drawing a cobalt circle that runs off the screen.

Expressed is on the Mac.

Woohoo - it’s arrived! You can download it from the website — Apple silicon, macOS 15 or later, free, same as Windows.

The drawing works. Tablet in one hand, ink on the desktop you are already sharing, the other person installs nothing. That is the part I will not make a joke out of.

The window, though. That window. Yeah - about that.

What you open today is a copy of the Windows UI with some slight modifications, sitting on a Mac, doing its best. Same buttons, similar layout. I shipped it like that on purpose as it’s better to get feedback now than next week/month, you get the idea.

A Mac interface should be something you get to be proud of. The good ones make the software feel effortless — you forget the window and you are just in the explanation, pen moving, the person on the other end actually getting it and the UI isn’t jarring or making you question your app choices in life. That is the bar. I want opening Expressed to feel like the machine already knew why you were there.

If you have been waiting, it’s there . If a button still looks lost, tell me. I already agree with you. Let me know how it goes - I definately want your feedback!
